SATURDAY, 14 May
The Red & Black Express went along to Martin Lucky Park on Saturday, 14th May to watch the The Poneke U9 Slammers take on MSP U9. Lucky to be playing given that must junior rugby games were cancelled, the Slammers coached by Mike Ryan played some good rugby. It was a cold morning but the kids were soon got warm with the amount of running they did and the parents joined in getting warm from running up and down of the sidelines to cheer on their kids.
Best wishes to the Slammers for the remaining games of the season.

U6 WARRIORS
The Red & Black Express went along to Haitaitai Park on Saturday, 16th April to watch the The Poneke U6 Warriors take on the Wellington Wild Cats. It was the first wet game of of the season but that didn't stop the team from enjoying the game and throwing the ball around. The team is coached by Dwayne Waterman a former Poneke Premier player. The Warriors team has won one game lost one game. We wish the Warriors team all the best for the remaining games of the season.
